Wash the fruit and set aside.
Combine all of the smoothie ingredients in high-powered blender. Pulse 3-4 times, and then blend until smooth.
Divide the smoothie evenly between two 12-ounce bowls. Decorate with fruit, sliced almonds, and fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately.
