  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (1 to 1-1/2 limes; fresh squeezed is best)
  • 1 handful fresh or frozen raspberries

Instructions

  1. Measure the sugar into the bottom of a 1-pint mason jar. Add the lime juice and water.
  2. Place the lid on the mason jar tightly, and shake until the sugar is dissolved (about 10-20 seconds).
  3. Next, remove the lid, and add a handful of fresh or frozen raspberries. Shake it up a few more times, until the limeade is pink.
  4. Serve with ice and a slice of lime, if desired.

Recipe Notes

LARGE BATCH LIMEADE

For 6 servings:

  • 6 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups lime juice
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

Prepare according to the recipe above in a half-gallon mason jar, and shake with the lid on tightly (or stir with a long handled spoon) till the sugar is dissolved. If you don't have a large mason jar, stir until the sugar is dissolved in a 1/2 gallon pitcher.

For 12 servings:

  • 12 cups water
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups lime juice
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

Prepare according to the recipe above in a large beverage dispenser or punch bowl, rather than a mason jar. Stir (don't shake) until the sugar is dissolved.
