Whipped Honey Butter

This simple recipe is light, fluffy, and honey-kissed sweet. Perfect with a fresh roll and a cup of tea.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. salted butter softened
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter in the bowl of an electric mixer or a medium sized mixing bowl.

  2. Beat until creamy, about 2 minutes.

  3. Add the honey and beat on high speed for 2-6 more (using a whisk attachment in the stand mixer), scraping down the sides of the bowl periodically. Beat until very light colored and thick.

  4. Store in a sealed container at room temperature for immediate use, or in the fridge for long storage. Bring to room temperature before serving.

Recipe Notes

If you plan to pipe swirls of honey butter with a piping tip and bag, this is best done the day the butter is made for the smoothest looking result.
