This past week I had the opportunity (for the second year in a row) to go up to the Niagara area and teach the art of cake decor at Soli Deo Gloria Ballet‘s annual Christian Dance and Arts Camp. So, basically, I got to spend a few hours teaching ballerinas, in a number of age categories, the basics of cake decor. I also spent the week taking pictures and helping out where needed. What a great week! I am thankful for the opportunity to have been there, teaching and learning from these young’uns. They are spectacular.
If you’re interested in music, dance, arts in just about any form, or you just like to look at happy pictures, you may want to watch Soli Deo Gloria’s Website or Facebook Group for new pictures and information. The week was fantastic, and I readily recommend the experience of it to anyone. In addition to daily Bible study and morning worship, via their dance teacher and featured artists throughout the week, the kids learned music/praise, writing, stop motion animation, singing, and cake decorating. They also got to enjoy some other fun activities, but I won’t go on too much about that just now… Except to say that my mother is one of the best cooks in the world, and she cooks at this camp. Just mentioning.
And now, here are some photos from my classes! 😀
Thanks for stopping in!
