Hey guys!
Unfortunately I don’t have a new recipe this week… because, once again, I’m chipping away at working on my blog to improve it, and today’s work mostly involved creating image links to old content so that it’s easier for you to find what you need! This has been on my to-do list for a WHILE, so I’m very happy to have it done! Check out the “Recipes” tab, and the “Sweet,” “Savoury,” and “Beverages” tabs underneath it – They’ve all been updated, and I’m excited for you to enjoy my new method of keeping track of old content.
That said, I have a quick disclaimer: Some of the links within old posts are still messed up… and some of the photo quality has been damaged as the content has moved from one platform to another. If you find an old post that doesn’t have a recipe, its pictures are blurry, or something… Leave me a comment to let me know, and I’ll make sure to fix that for you as soon as I can!
NaomiCakes has been a labour of love stretched out over a long period of time – and only recently have I begun to correct some of the problems that have emerged as it has evolved. The blog started out as a little personal blog of my own when I was… very young. Probably 16 or younger, with the name “Little Bits of Happiness.” From there, it became “Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice” – Which eventually became NaomiCakes, but in that process of change, all of my content has been moved from one site to the next, with different platforms, moving and changing as I’ve developed a new vision for it. Although the purpose of my blog has changed a lot over time, I think I’ve finally landed on what I want it to be: A place where you can find quality recipes and tutorials (with beautiful pictures), and a place where I can simply… share my joy and enthusiasm for learning new things in the kitchen, and for finding little blessings in the every-day that keep me motivated and encouraged… which I hope, will in turn, encourage you too.
Although I started this blog years ago, in some ways, I feel like I have just begun. Thank you for joining me in this new adventure! The encouragement I get from having people take time to read this stuff and look forward to more is tremendous – Especially when you can find some benefit in it for yourself. My aim in producing new content is to give you something of value.
