I… love this cake. I was asked to make it for a friend’s baby shower last summer, basing it off of a design by Cakes by May. Isn’t it just the sweetest?
I love the simplistic, yet incredible detail in its presentation; undoubtedly one of my favourite things in cake design.
Since this cake went so well, I used this style as inspiration for the look of the moose on my recent Moose Cake post – Which is also incredibly cute, I think. There’s nothing like a plush looking baby fondant elephant or moose to make you go weak at the knees, am I right?
