Citrus Punch with Fresh Strawberries and Star Fruit [Recipe]

Looks good, doesn’t it?  Yeah.  Here’s another picture, so that you can look at it again:
Mm-hm.  That’s what you call “Delicious.”  Yes.  You do.
My last post was supposed to be something like this, but then the weather took a turn for the crazy and ended up being freezing cold.  So, I made up a batch of Summer Cider (complete with fresh fruit) to warm myself up.
Today, on the other hand, is back to blazing hot.  Time to whip out the ice cubes and make something with lotsa pizazz– and FIZZ!
Something like this:

Citrus Punch with Fresh Strawberries and Star Fruit
Makes 8-10 servings

Ingredients:
1 can frozen white lemonade concentrate
1 can water
6 cups pink grapefruit pop
A few pink grapefruit slices (sliced thin)
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped (sweet strawberries are best)
Star fruit wedges, to garnish

Start by mixing the lemonade concentrate and water together.  This is one of the hardest parts of making this.  Do you think you’ll make it?

I have faith in you.  Press on!  😉

Next, chop up your fruit, get some glasses ready, and measure out the pop.

If you want to use white grapefruit pop, you can, but just keep in mind that it will yield a frosty lemonade-looking punch.  Or, if you want to use ruby red, it’ll yield a slightly darker colored punch.

Pour the pop into a pitcher with your lemonade; add the strawberries and grapefruit slices with a handful of ice, and stir a couple of times.  Pour into glasses and garnish with a piece of star fruit and half a strawberry.

Then, drink it.  In all its frosty glory.

This punch is super easy, quick, pretty, delicious, and great for parties and gatherings.  Not to mention inexpensive.  If I’m not mistaken, that makes a win-win-win-win-win-WIN recipe!

And now my glass is empty… Sad.  Can’t wait to make it again!
For what great events will you be making this punch?  Can’t wait to read your comments.
Back soon!
