Ok guys, be excited: here are 10 great, homemade desserts to make for Mother’s Day! From truffles to muffins to cake, I hope you can find some good inspiration here to make your mama feel special.
While I typically love to buy flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day, there is also something really great about making that special, sweet lady a special, sweet treat. It just seems fitting, doesn’t it? Also, being a mother myself (and someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen), I know how thoughtful it seems when someone goes out of their way to make something nice for me.
About my desserts for Mother’s Day list:
I will begin this list with chocolate, since for most women, flowers and chocolate can never go wrong. Beyond that, I’ve included a variety on this list that I know my mom and I enjoy, some of which can be prepared ahead, and some of which are just so incredibly delicious (and pretty!), they’re sure to be well received!
I’ll list a little description of each recipe, and then the ingredients and tools you will need for each one, just to make it easy to see if you have what you need. Are you ready? Here we go!
